"We just came back from a wonderful stay at the Pumpkin Patch B&B.  The hosts are so warm and welcoming - we really felt like guests in their home.  We stayed in the Edythe Room, which was really a suite.  The mattress was soft with such cozy bedding we didn't want to get up in the morning.  We also loved the private sitting room - it gave us a separate space to sit and hang out in.  Morning breakfast was delicious.  So much better than any hotel breakfast!!!"

"What an amazing place!  Debbie and Rich treated us like family, and we really felt at home.  The food was delicious and every detail was considered, right down to the whipped cream for my daughter's hot chocolate (they gave us a whole can!).  We were so sad to go, and wish that we could have spent much longer than a weekend there.  We didn't have enough time with their daughter, either.  We will DEFINITELY be back...can't wait!"

"My husband, two teenagers, and myself stayed at the Pumpkin Patch B and B for a night to attend a family wedding. We cannot say enough wonderful things about the owners, the property, or the food. Everything was absolutely amazing and beyond expectations. The owners couldn’t be more friendly or inviting. They felt like old friends. The room was spotless and well put together with so many extras. I only wish we were staying longer to enjoy the beautiful area. "

"We are so glad we found this place! It was perfect for our little fall getaway. The suite was so comfortable, quiet and peaceful. It was just what we both needed. Our hosts and fellow guests were very friendly and laid-back. I love all the little details in here that make this feel like hone. Actually, it's like home, but with gourmet breakfasts, a magically made bed, and clean towels every day! Oh, and let's not forget the cookies! "Nous avons passé trois jours superbes avec Debbie Rich et Karissa dans leur superbe maison. Nous avons apprécié leur gentillesse et leur disponibilité. Nous avons logé dans leur studio très bien équipe et surtout très propre. Que dire des petits déjeuners, tous les jours différent et raffine, et pris dans leur superbe cuisine. La situation de la maison thé pumpkin patch b&b est très bien située face au magnifique parc dans cette très belle ville de rochester. Ayant eu pendant le séjour un problème mécanique sur notre voiture Rich a été d'une efficacité remarquable et un dévouement qui a permis de solutionner notre problème. Nous garderons un très bon souvenir de cette étape dans le vermont . Nous retournerons les voir lors d'un prochain voyage.

We spent three wonderful days with Debbie, Rich and Karissa in their beautiful home. We appreciated their kindness and availability . We stayed in their studio  suite, which was  very nice and very clean. What can we say about breakfast? E very day was something different and  very refined , it w as a superb cuisine. The tea house in the Pumpkin Patch  B &  B was conveniently located opposite of a beautiful park in the beautiful town of Rochester. During our stay, we had a mechanical problem with our car. Rich was remarkably efficient and dedicated in helping us solve our problem. We have very fond memories of this stop in Vermont . We hope to return see you again  during a future trip."

It felt like we were home for the weekend on a Wednesday! We loved all the settings around the home that we got to enjoy: the screened-in porch, the sitting area, and the fireplace. You definitely made us feel welcomed. This home, in this town, in this narrow green valley will leave a lasting imprint in my memory of my bicycle tour around the Northern Tier of the US - Seattle Washington to Bar Harbor, Maine. "Cute and cozy describes this B&B from top to bottom. The rooms all have their own bathrooms and are decorated in pumpkins and historical furniture. There's a lot of history with this house and the owners have done their research to be able to tell you about it. The owners are really friendly and will make you feel at home. They go the extra mile for their guests, making cookies fresh for tea and quick breads for breakfast daily. I love the tea station in the kitchen next to the wood-burning cast iron cooking (and heating) stove. Be ready to eat a hearty breakfast- you'll need it for all the hiking / skiing / leaf-peeping the Central Green Mountains has to offer. I should also mention that the Pumpkin Patch B&B is a great value."

"The Pumpkin Patch B&B is a lovely bed and breakfast in Rochester, Vermont. I stayed there for a friend's wedding, and was really impressed with the facilities and service. There were 3 rooms for guests; I stayed in one of the smaller Queen rooms, but it was essentially part of a suite. I had a library and bathroom to myself, so I was able to have a few friends stop by while we prepared our toasts. It was very comfortable and absolutely adorable. The breakfast was incredible. The first morning, Debbie and Rich, the proprietors, served pancakes of your choosing. I chose banana-walnut-cinnamon pancakes topped with local Vermont maple syrup, and they were divine. They came with a variety of breakfast breads / coffee cakes, as well as a fresh fruit cup. All in all, it was phenomenal. The next morning, they woke up at 3:45AM to make me an omelet before I left to catch my 8:45AM flight out of Boston. I couldn't believe it! I think that alone speaks for the level of service they provide. Truly they're amazing. Moreover, I left a set of keys there and they shipped them back, free of charge. If you're ever in Rochester, VT, I strongly recommend the Pumpkin Patch B&B!"

"The most beautiful home and the most gracious and wonderful hosts. We stayed at the Pumpkin Patch B&B on June 14, checked out on June 15th. Rich and Debbie Mathiesen, and their wonderful daughter Karissa, treated us like we were longtime friends. Their house is gorgeous - beautiful, stately home. The breakfast was phenomenal - Rich is a master pancake chef. We highly recommend the Pumpkin Patch -- it is truly a home away from home and then some!"
